Alistair had a 14-month camera shoot at the Grapevine Mills Mall! While he was a little bit hyperactive, he was gracious enough to give the photographers a window of at least 2 seconds on each of these shots wherein they were able to capture all of his cuteness!
I went to the Fort Worth Zoo with Mom and Dad for Mother’s Day. I don’t get it! What was the big deal with the birds and why did they want me to play with them?
I saw a bunch of cool things though - the White Bengal Tiger was extremely friendly - he came up to the window to say hi to me. I wanted to play with him so bad, but I couldn’t figure out how to get into the cage!
I also like monkeys a lot. Some of them have really long arms and can swing all over the place. I can’t wait until we go back again!@#@!#
I’m getting extra sleep now so that I can save all of my energy to go for these things that my mommy and daddy call ‘walks’. I use my feet and … well… you know. I just didn’t know that little guys like me could walk too! I see mommy and daddy do it all the time and want to be just like them. Well - look out mommy and daddy! I’m getting this walking thing down to an art! I’ll soon be running around you guys in circles!!!

Well, let me tell you, it’s been a long hard year! I’ve grown 7 teeth, learned how to crawl, grown a nice head of hair, and had a lot of fun with my mommy and daddy. I’ve visited Virginia to see my Aunt Georgina, visited Austin to learn about being eclectic, flown to Arizona to meet my cousin, Keilei, and have big plans for this next year!
My mommy and daddy bought me some early birthday presents that I truly adore! I have my very own play table — it’s blue and I like to stack my wooden blocks on it. Daddy and I made some videos to show you how much fun it is to be a whole year old!
Mommy and daddy say that I’ve been around longer than a year, which I don’t really understand… I don’t really remember anything from before March 26 of last year. I’m glad that I have my blog to keep track of things!

Seriously. January is a great month for playing. You get a bunch of cool presents for Christmas and it’s so cold outside that all you want to do is stay inside and play. My favorite Christmas present this year was a thing called bowling that involves a dog, a cat, a cow, a duck, a sheep, and a pig. Then there’s this round thing. It’s really cool. I’m still working on it.
My daddy also setup this new room he calls his ‘new office’ that I get to play in. There are all sorts of cool things in there like wires and boxes of paper. I asked daddy to take some videos of me playing so that he could share them with my grandparents in England and my Aunt Georgina who came to play with me last month!

I don’t know if you know this but I have the funniest Daddy!
He makes such funny faces and noises..and he tickles me with his beard. I hope I have a beard someday. I think it would make me look handsome too!
Me and my Daddy have started this new game..it’s called Indian Giver. It begins with him giving me my blanket then taking it away and then giving it back..hahaha it’s so funny! Maybe you would have to be there.
My Daddy and me are buddies. Like he takes me with him when he goes to the bank and to the post office, I sit on his lap while he works sometimes and he shows me what he does and we hide the clothes I spilled food on in the hamper before Mommy sees them.
My favorite times though, are when he jams out on his cool guitar for me. I just sit back on the couch and watch him. I think he is such a good singer and sometimes I try to sing along with him (I don’t sound as good though). It’s neat watching his fingers move up and down on “the strings” . Mommy was impressed with me the other day because she saw me dancing. I don’t know why she was so surprised; I learned how to dance from Daddy. He dances while playing the guitar for me! Oh oh! I almost forgot to tell you..Daddy has his own blog just like me and it has his songs that he sings for me on it!

I also like how Daddy smells. He gives me big kisses and they always smell like his coffee. I don’t know what coffee is yet, but I love smelling it on Daddy. And Daddy is more fun to play with after he has some in the morning!
I am his favorite guy and he is mine! In fact I am going to go play with him now!

It’s been a while since I last posted on my blog — let me tell you why!!!! I’ve been extremely busy working on this thing called “playing”. Mommy and daddy have bought me loads of cool toys that are all sorts of colors and have all sorts of neat things to look at — but get this — some of them make sounds, some of them bend, some of them are soft, and when I look at some of them I can see myself!!! Mommy and daddy call this a mirror.
I worked really hard with daddy today so that I could show you guys my neat tricks and how great I can play! Enjoy the videos (there are 5 total - but it takes me a while to put them on my blog!)
